John C. Cavalier holds joint chairmanships of Auxilia and MapInfo (Nasdaq:MAPS). He assumed chairmanship of the latter in February 2002 after serving as MapInfo’s president and CEO. Mr. Cavalier has been CEO of five software companies. Previously president and CEO of the Antares Alliance Group, jointly owned by EDS and Amdahl Corporation, he spearheaded integration of existing technology to create an innovative, new application development software tool. Earlier, he was vice president and general manager of Apple Computer’s International division, responsible for the Americas, Far East, and Africa, and also of Apple’s Personal Computer Division. He is on the Board of Directors of several public and private companies and advises many early-stage high-tech venture companies in New York State.
