Aquatic Systems

Unmanned systems technologies are emerging with as much breadth of design and application as available in the aerial systems marketplace. With uses ranging from scientific to military missions, and roles from sensor platform to weapons platform, unmanned marine systems are making an impact.

Marine Surface Vehicles

Weaponized or non-weaponized surface craft can perform routine surveillance or coastal perimeter moni-toring functions. They can be deployed as an adjunct of emergency services or any other role where manned surface craft are used.

Unmanned Underwater Vehicles

Used for special purpose submarine inspection, or long endurance missions, unmanned underwater vehicles go where divers cannot or would be too costly to deploy.

Sensor Buoys

Instrumented buoys equipped to measure environmental conditions, marine weather, or water traffic patterns serve as reliable sentries on inland and coastal waterways.

Unmanned Marine Aircraft

Fixed wing amphibious aircraft and vertical takeoff and landing unmanned systems offer a great deal of flexibility by offering land or ship based launch and recovery. With an ability to land on, or hover over the water surface, these aircraft can take physical samples as well as discharge all of the traditional roles of unmanned aircraft.
